Do I need to be present during the inspection?

No, you are not required to be there for the inspection. We would prefer that you attend. If you are
present, you can ask questions directly and the inspector can explain completely. It is a valuable
learning experience and will help you get the most benefit from the inspection.

We inspect 7 days a week at your convenience, so that you can attend.

All inspections, including sewer lateral and termite inspections are completed during the home

How do I choose a home inspector?

You may want to ask the following questions:

Are you a certified inspector?

ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) certified inspectors have the education, professionalism,
stability and integrity that you deserve.

ASHI inspectors must pass background checks, participate in ongoing training, and follow the ASHI
standards of practice and code of ehtics.

What type of report is generated from the inspection?

Our report is not a checklist.

A full narrative report will be generated and delivered (emailed) within 24 hours after the inspection.
The report is filled with detailed digital photos and explanations. A separate summary report is also
submitted which specifically addresses the items for repair considerations.

How long does an inspection take?

An inspection typically takes 2-3 hours depending on the size and condition of the home. Larger homes,
or homes that are in poor condition may take longer to inspect.

Can a house fail a home inspection?

No. A home inspection is an unbiased report based on the condition of a home at the time of the
inspection. An inspection is a description and examination of the components of the home, and any
repairs that may be needed. Your inspection will be used in conjunction with all the of other aspects of
the home buying process.
